You
can sometimes get some ideas for points to make in the body of your essay
from ChatGPT if the essay title is fairly general. However, it won't
provide you with specific content and examples to illustrate those points. For
that you will need to do some research and keep up to date with current affairs
and the work of the Italian Foreign Ministry, the EU, NATO, the UN etc. In
addition, you will need to work out your own line of argument for the introduction and to structure your
essay. So ChatGPT can be a useful resource as a starting point but only as a
starting point (and as a language resource for expressions and
terminology). You can also try, in responding to a title, to write your own
essay plan first and only then use ChatGPT to see if it
raises other issues that you missed or if it interprets the title differently. Anyway
don’t become dependent on it, or on other AI resources. Otherwise, the Ministry
may recruit a machine instead of you!
